ArmA 2 Screenshots: Man Down

12
Developer Bohemia Interactive today released four new in-game screenshots from the PC version of its upcoming military simulator sequel, ArmA 2.

The shots were taken from an "in-game HD video," slated for release next week.

The PC version of ArmA 2 hits Europe in early 2009, published by 505 Games, with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions also in the works. No details have been announced regarding the inevitable North American release

Hopefully, ArmA 2 will be more like Operation Flashpoint and less like that turd ArmA 1.

yes but the developers who created the original Operation Flashpoint created ArmA and are working on ArmA 2. I hope OpFlash 2 is good as well, but we'll see.

Yeah, it sucks ArmA had issues, it seemed to run like crap all of the time.

I'm actually looking forward to OFP2 due to a different developer being involved. ARMA was weak-sauce.

Was it really that bad? I tried it in the beginning (Demo or Beta?) and ya it sucked, but I haven't kept track of it at all since then.

It sucks because of technical issues.

I liked ARMA, but It just ran like crap on my PC and I had to take a break from it.

It was practically the same as Flashpoint. Just because it ran like crap on your comp, doesn't mean it's a turd.

The game had and still has tons of bugs, which wont even let you start it. When you are able to play the game is fun yes, but right now on this box here, I couldn't get it to load. Should try nowdays, maybe the fixed the "you have too much RAM issue", which was pretty pathetic, that a game wont run on 64bit os just because you have 4GB of ram which is apparently way too much for the game.

They patched that issue quite awhile back.
