DiRT 2 'Target Visual' Screenshots Released

I thought Sony was the only one that hyped things up with target renders. I hope this doesn't be come a trend for other developers.

I hated the way they did Multiplayer, and that is the reason I didn't pick it up. I don't want to race and not have my friends or others "right there" like most all other racing games.

Nice to see Battersea Power Station there, London landmark that. Why they even bother with blatantly unrealistic "target renders" is beyond me though. It's called setting unutainable expectations, no matter how hard you tell people they're just "targets".

I'm surprised they never mentioned McRae's passing on Top Gear. They did a small montage for Richard Burns.

These graphics look amazing. Even if its simply a graphical update to DiRT it will be an amazing rally game and I'll snatch it up as soon as it hits. Hell, even if the graphics don't hit this level but are a step up from previous, I'll be buying it. DiRT is a great game showcasing some of the best racing in the world.
