First Post!

Morning! Stayed up till 6AM my time this morning, and played some Left 4 Dead until about 9:30. Didn't really thought the demo was of the quality I've come to expect from Valve, and the time with the full version hasn't really changed my mind. Its fun, but lacking in detail and variety. Knowing Valve, there will be plenty of post-release content...but that content isn't here now. I dont know, I'm just not feeling it, even though I do indeed dig both first person shooters and zombies. Guess I'm just broken.

I'd say it's simply peer pressure or mobbing.

I just didn't bother with it. If the demo doesn't impress me I see no reason why I should pay for it, hype or no hype.

I had an issue with the controls on the Xbox and also I didn't like how linear it felt. This is one genre that deserves the proper open world/sandbox treatment (+co-op). I got sick of the demo map really fast and had no intention to replay it at a later point. Hell, I've played a bunch of Half-Life 1 and 2 zombie mods that had me hooked for hours and didn't feel like I've been funneled down some path. The AI director might be smart and all but different enemy placement didn't make it feel like something new and worthy replaying.
