Is there a reason this game needs that more than others?

It's a console RTS and Halo. Bugs should be the least of issues if this combination wants even a chance to survive.

I think any title should have no noticeable bugs that interfere with player enjoyment. I'm curious why this game gets a special comment.

Because it's Halo, and people that didn't like the game as much as millions of others tend to try and shit on it every chance they get. Maybe it's because they are mad that they couldn't quite get into it when everyone else was talking about it but who knows.

I still hate on this game. It's 2-3 years too late. I hate on the backdrop of the story. And I hate prequels.

I think the Halo series peaked and is on its way to becoming a tired, worn out franchise. Halo 3's story was nothing special. Multiplayer is what keeps me coming back, but now it's got some stiff competition in the form of the Call of Duty 4 (and maybe Gears 2) which I find myself playing more often. They need to release the Mythic map pack now.
