Shack PSA: $399 PlayStation 3 Comes with $100 Wal-Mart Gift Card on Saturday
by Chris Faylor, Nov 06, 2008 8:23am PSTBeginning this Saturday, November 8, at 8 AM, Wal-Mart stores will briefly offer customers a free $100 gift card with the purchase of a $399 PlayStation 3.
That particular model of the PlayStation 3 packs an 80GB hard drive, but is not backwards compatible with PlayStation 2 games.
In addition to the pseudo-PlayStation 3 discount, the $129 PlayStation 2 and $199 Ratchet & Clank PSP Bundle will be bundled with a $30 gift card, while supplies last.
The retailer notes that for each offer, there will be a "minimum 4 per store."

You still pay full price for the PS3 and get the gift card after the purchase. PS3 needs a price drop before I buy it but if you have the cash you will get a 100 dollar gift card to buy games at least.
