Call of Duty: World at War Multiplayer Beta Now Open to the Xbox 360 Public
by Chris Faylor, Nov 04, 2008 2:30pm PSTThe Xbox 360 multiplayer beta for Treyarch's WWII shooter Call of Duty: World at War is now available for any and every Xbox Live Gold member to download and play, the developer has announced on the game's official site.
The download can be found under the Call of Duty: World at War category within the online Xbox Live Marketplace.
The beta launched in mid-October, at the time restricted to only those that had access tokens. The full game arrives at retailers on November 11, with the now-public beta essentially acting as a demo for the wartime shooter.
A multiplayer beta is also underway on the PC, and is likewise open to anyone.

It really is just a shittier CoD4; graphics that don't hold up at all to the screenshots (on 360 at least) and stale, boring gameplay.
Ugh.

PC version was a different story.
Moreover COD 5 is just COD4 in a refurbished package. Not going to buy a Call of Duty game until Infinity Ward puts their wizard robes and hat on again.
