Sacred 2 Trailer Heads Into Battle

A pre-rendered trailer has arrived for Ascaron Entertainment's Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (PC, 360, PS3), showing a slew of heroes taking on a skeletal army using a mix of futuristic weaponry and fantastic magic.

The PC version of the action-RPG has gone gold and is due to arrive November 11, but the Xbox 360 and PlayStation iterations will have to wait for February 17 of next year. For those who dislike waiting, a PC demo is available now on FileShack.

Sacred 2 is the best action RPG on the market.

There is nothing else to say really, imported the AU/UK version.

If you like the following games just go out and pre order it, you can not go wrong:

Diablo 2
Titain Quest
Silver Fall
Loki
Legend Hand of God
Throne of Darkness
Mage the Apocalypse

* It is better than all of those, and they are all my favs *

Wow, that trailer just destroyed any interest I had in this game what so ever. I actually liked the first one, but once robodog pulled out his lazer beam they lost me. PEW PEW!

Try the demo guys it's in the writeup. I am not huge on the diablo style of games, in fact I don't like diablo 1 and 2 at all. I do like Titans Quest and Sacred 1 though and the demo convinced me to pickup Sacred 2. Supposedly it's coming to Steam too so that removes just about any reason not to get it if you want it. I think the only thing that will be pulling me out of Fallout 3 for the forseeable future is grouping up with a buddy of mine and playing this.

Has anyone played this yet? I know the Euro release has been available, even for import, for a while.

The first game had a lot of potential, despite some glaring balance issues... and I'm really hoping this game will be fun. Seems like I can never have enough action RPGs.

The engine and art are beautiful. But the actual characters were a big turnoff to me. The voice acting was too over the top and not a fan of the 'space dog' or angel characters.... but yes it looks like a very nice diablo clone.

The beta was a buggy mess so I can imagine other than some bugs to patch out the game will be a lot of fun. The first Sacred was well supported with patches so I can imagine after a few patches this game will be stable and worth owning. The first was always one of the best Action RPGs out and this one seems to be even better.
