C&C: Red Alert 3 Resurrected on PlayStation 3
by Chris Faylor, Nov 04, 2008 9:01am PSTInitially announced for the PlayStation 3 in February and then put "on hold" in June, EA LA's alternate history RTS Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 has left the land of limbo and is once again headed to the PlayStation 3.
With the PC version on store shelves and the Xbox 360 release due November 11, producer David Silverman told VideoGamer that "there's definitely people working on a PS3 version and we'll be talking more about that later."
"If you're a PS3 owner and you don't own a PC and you don't have an Xbox 360...you can play Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Bide your time and you'll be very pleased," Silverman said.
He explained that the PS3 version was suspended to ensure that the overall product achieved "the level of quality that it must adhere to to be called a C&C game," adding that "we've hit that mark, we've shipped the game."
The produced teased that the team is looking at "some really cool things" for the PlayStation 3 version of Red Alert 3, such as "taking advantage of both the 1080p nature and the high-defness of Blu-ray."

Do people like that really exist? I'm not trying to start a console flame war, I just am seriously wondering if people who would buy the PS3 wouldn't already at the least have a computer.
