Witcher Fan Appreciation Trailer Offers Glimpse of New CD Projekt Projects

CD Projekt, the developers of last year's surprise PC RPG hit The Witcher, today released a new trailer thanking fans for their support of the company.

As a gesture of appreciation, CD Projekt also threw in a few brief shots of future company titles, including the recently-acquired Metropolis Software's shooter THEY, and what appears to be footage from a new Witcher game.

I loved the game, when I wasn't staring at a loading screen.

My god the loading screens took forever.

I should reinstall it and give the patch a whirl. I haven't played it since it came out.

The Witcher was really a great game. Not without flaws but way ahead of comparable games like neverwinter nights 2. When you look at that game, and then see what these guys did on the same engine, you've got to be impressed. Looking forward to a sequel - hopefully they can get the American translations a little stronger the first go round this time.

And thank you CD Projekt for a great game and continuous support. If this is what it means to be a PC gamer these days then that's fine. What I mean by this is 4 or 5 great titles a year from serious studios is better than 20 console ports. Yeah, yeah I know where the money is so no need to bash me over the head with your 360 controller.

Also, it's nice not being called a thief once in a while.

i havent played the Witcher. i really should. this video thanking gamers from CD Projekt has earned them much respect from me. and all it took was a simple "Thank You" to their customers to win me over. add 1 more to that one million, im gonna buy the Witcher on that alone.

I tried the demo when it came out, and didn't like it. Now I have to think over it again! Will redownload the demo and maybe buy it.

This little movie got them a lot of my respect. Awesome thing, way to go EA and you other fan torturing DRM junkies.
