Electronic Arts Goes To Hell With Dante's Inferno
by Maarten Goldstein, Oct 31, 2008 6:45am PDTVariety reports that Electronic Arts is working on a videogame adaptation of Dante's famous Inferno poem. Though EA has not yet officially announced such a project, it has engaged in talks with several motion picture studios about a movie tie-in.
According to Variety, Universal, Paramount, New Regency and MGM are currently submitting bids, while Warner Brothers is no longer in the race.Other movie adaptations of EA properties in various stages of production include The Sims, Army of Two, and Mass Effect.
The game itself is expected to be released late next year.
