Atari Picks Up The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena; PC Version Planned
by Maarten Goldstein, Oct 30, 2008 5:27am PDTAtari announced it has nabbed the publishing rights to The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, after Activision Blizzard dropped the Starbreeze Studios game following the Vivendi Games merger.
Originally announced as a remake of 2004's critically acclaimed The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Assault on Dark Athena will include an additional full-length campaign as well as online multiplayer support.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena had been announced as a PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 project, but Atari today confirmed a PC version will be released as well.
Assault on Dark Athena will ship next spring.
