Midway sends along the latest Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe trailer, pitting Sub-Zero against Batman and Superman versus Raiden. The video offers gameplay footage and cinematic scenes.

Due out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe hits stores November 16.

I wonder if anyone developing this bothered to take into account that Batman doesn't kill people? Never mind the fact that ya know, none of the characters in the MK Universe could take Superman alone, or even in a group.

No thought behind this game, trying to merge two IPs and hoping the "Awe factor" will be enough to get sales.

I too, hope this game bombs BAD.

Why don't developers ever learn you can't have Superman in a game with the current model of how games are played? He only has one weakness, and it's not lightning or electricity.

Was i the only person that thought the game play looked terrible? Yeah i know the MK style but the stuttering combat just sent this game into the uncanny valley.

When i first heard the game i thought it was going to be bad. At least i confirmed it for myself

I've never ever been a Mortal Kombat guy, I only played the first two but.....that trailer was pretty f@#&ing badass man! MK truly has a style all their own. I really really hope there are a lot awesome cutscenes like that in the game. I was having a nerdgasm for a moment there seeing Sub-Zero butt heads with Batman like that haha

actually the awe factor is pretty cool with this one, when coupled with a good buzz.

the gore would have made it 100X better though... its a shame. Still seems like a brutally cool beatem up.

More fun factor than technical

lets hope mk9 or 10? whichever, comes out with a 2d playstyle like sf4 coupled with some totally brutall head ripping , spine swinging, blood dripping 3d fatalities.
