Well, actually, I imagine the gamepad vs. keyboard/mouse issue is really more of a matter of personal taste and experience...I think that the average console gamer will be much better at using that gamepad...granted, he might not be able to do some of the things like circle-strafing, but he'll probably be able to control it enough for it to be fun for him...

Also the biggest question about 4 way Quake 3 on DC will be how much of a framerate hit will it be? Goldeneye nearly slows to a crawl in 4 player mode, even worst if you played single player mode just 5 mins before, it messes with your eyes...

Dont forget Playstation has link cable capacity as well, just not exploited that much. Doom for PSX was one of these games and was kinda fun to play because we had the setup available...

My roommate and I both play Q3, and we coordinate on CTF defense quite nicely by looking at each others' monitors. What's your point?
