Q3 To DC Official

The guys at Well Rounded Entertainment have gotten their hands on a press release official announcing the porting of Quake3 to the Dreamcast console (it was rumored a week ago). It won't be developed by id, but it will be supervised by them. PC and DC users will be able to play against each other, using the Sega Dreamcast Network. The game should ship later this year.

The Sega Dreamcast version of QUAKE III Arena will have exclusive new arenas, a completely re-designed user interface and menu system, as well as an innovative two to four-player split screen option for non-stop action. Players are invited to test their mettle against history's fiercest warriors while prowling dark hallways and courtyards in gothic arenas and frightening futuristic spacescapes.

  • Phil, you don't seem to get it - saying what you did is *very* disrespectful. A person's death, especially when it's very public, just isn't something you joke about. Just because it happens to get posted on the Shack doesn't mean you can joke about it like it's another piece Daikatana news.

Imagine if your mom died today and Steve decided to make a post about it. Would it be okay for you if someone made jokes about her just because it's on this website? Of course not.

Oh, and I might add... Seumas' family co-developed Tread Marks, and that means that they go online as well. Wouldn't be the brightest idea to make fun of their family tragedy when there's the potential for them to spot it... but then, the fact that you're making fun at all shows you're not being bright to begin with.
