F.E.A.R. 2 Coming to Steam, Direct2Drive

Monolith's spooky shooter sequel F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin will be available through PC digital distribution platforms Steam and Direct2Drive on February 10, the same day it hits retailers, publisher Warner Bors. announced today.

Originally titled Project Origin, the sequel was renamed earlier this year after Warner Bros. and Monolith acquired the F.E.A.R. property from previous owner Vivendi.

In addition to the PC, F.E.A.R. 2 will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 10.

If you have not checked it out try the two expansions for FEAR, Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate. I shall be getting tjhe box version to add to my collection. This release makes me happy, I knew they had to do a sequal after 10 mins into the original.

Increased the odds of me buying it by 100. I really liked FEAR but I wouldn't be compelled to go out and buy a boxed copy. Yay for Steam

Man, I cannot wait for this game. Part 1 was one of the first games that I got for the 360 around the time the system came out and I loved it. I played through the whole game again about a month ago, so I'm pretty pumped about the new one coming. Glad it's in February, because I'm going to have way too much on my plate through this year with all the good games out, and coming out.
