Sacred 2 Hits PC November 11, Consoles Feb. 17

Atari has announced that it will distribute Ascaron Entertainment's Sacred 2: Fallen Angel in North America, with the PC version slated to arrive on November 11, followed by PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 iterations on February 17, 2009.

The oft-delayed multiplayer-oriented action-RPG was originally slated to hit retailers in early 2008, but was later delayed into September so that the team could "realize all the development plans." Both the console and PC releases will sport online co-op, with the console versions also packing offline two-player co-op.

While distributed by Atari, Sacred 2 will be published by cdv Entertainment. Atari will likewise handle distribution for other "key" cdv releases, such as I Heart Geeks! (DS) and My Little Baby (DS).

The original had so much potential but was so unpolished it made me sad. Having played the demo for this I have to say they have definately stepped it up, would have already imported this if not for the deluge of games i need to finish, but will still be getting this day one or soon after.

This game is awesome, I bought the AU version (imported it) and have had it for just over a week now.

In short it is the best Action RPG I have played, I would recommend every action RPG fan to pre order it or go buy it like I did.

The depth of the spells, skills, and pretty much everything is insane.

I am gona post a review soon with a mess load of screens and features and descriptions.

As for the bugs people are talking about I am not sure what they are talking about, there have been 2 patches maybe they have not installed them.

Here are some old screens from the demo, I will post new screens they are better than the demo, they have down graded allot of textures sounds etc for the demo.

yes it IS out here in europe - and my friends and i have great fun! It still has some crashy bugs, but the game looks very eyecandy and is awesome to play. buy it :)

The demo for this is up on the shack and it convinced me to buy it. It is supposed to be coming to steam also, which sealed the deal for me.

I'd be interested to see how they handle the console release for this. The genre is such an inherently PC one and the first Sacred was no exception.

That said, PC all the way for me.
