Alan Wake Update: New Trailer, Screenshots

By Chris Faylor, Oct 21, 2008 8:24am PDT Max Payne developer Remedy Entertainment has issued a new trailer and screenshots from its psychological action-adventure effort Alan Wake (PC, 360).

The studio has yet to say when the project will be released, though it was first unveiled in 2005. Upon its eventual arrival, Microsoft will publish.

"We're working hard on Alan Wake and want to make sure it meets and exceeds the awesome potential," Remedy managing director Matias Myllyrinne noted today. "It's still time to focus and we won't be doing constant updates on the progress."

"Naturally, we'll be happy to share and show more about Alan Wake when we have the next live showing of the game," added Myllyrinne.

  • I have been waiting for this game since i saw the first trailer released a few years ago. I was 21 at the time and im 24 now, and still anxiously waiting. This game has unreal potential, and now that stephen king released the book Duma Key, i see a cool similarity. This story is about an author, who suffers a great tragedy, and decides to move away to a new place for a while, and somehow, everything thing he writes comes to life or something like that. This game has infinite potential, and i still can't wait for this shit to come out.
