I'm so pissed that SOCOM doesn't have single player. I don't like multiplayer all that much :(

I'm annoyed that it has no tutorial or skirmish or something. I hate going into an online game not having any idea what the fuck I'm doing.

And I hope they improved the servers; I wasn't able to even advance past the main menu yesterday.

        :(

That's frustrating. I've had a blast w/ Warhawk despite the lack of tutorial or single player. But hearing that the servers suck...just lame.

I bought socom yesterday (mainly for the headset) it took me a few tries...after all the updates yesterday (nothing like a 425mb day 1 patch) the first time I tried to enter a game I got a "corrupted login" error...so I have to exit the game and delete the profile...came back in then it said the server was down...tried it again and it worked...

oh and why is there separate menus for installation and one to launch the game? everything else I've ever played never had that...took me like 10 minutes to realize that

      WTF, nobody told me this!

I'm reconsidering my purchase now, I rather play more BFBC than solely MP SOCOM.

Lol who cares about single player... Multiplayer is where it's at! Developing real skill, the challenge of playing real people, the community, clans, tournaments, getting owned, owning, etc. Mulitplayer only is a must for FPS in my opinion. I like Bad Company and Warhawk too for these reasons.
