Mirror's Edge Demo Hits November 6

The downloadable demo for DICE's first person free-runner Mirror's Edge will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 6--a scant 5 days before its full release on November 11--according to retailer GameStop.

As previously announced, those that pre-order the game from GameStop and other select retailers will receive a code to enable Time Trial mode in the demo, allowing them to compete against parkour co-creator Sebastian Foucan himself.

While the console releases hit November 11, the PC edition of Mirror's Edge is currently slated to arrive in the vague "winter" timeframe as DICE wanted to ensure that the PC version would be "amazing."

As long as the PC game is amazing then no biggie on it d being delayed. I am swamped with PC games at the moment plus plan on buying up a bunch of titles in the next few weeks. More games to play than I have time to play them.

So, demo hits two days after release for those of us without gold.

While I think this is a game I'll enjoy and will buy, I was hoping to get a chance to try it out before it was released. But I guess that won't happen.
