Scene It? Box Office Smash Hits 360 on October 28

Krome's movie-themed Xbox 360 party game sequel Scene It? Box Office Smash will be released in North America on October 28, publisher Microsoft announced today.

The first title to support the upcoming Xbox Avatars, Box Office Smash packs new questions and clips from over 250 movies, including The Breakfast Club, The Sting, Shrek, Charlie Wilson's War, The Last King of Scotland, and Juno.

The game will be available in two forms: a $60 bundle with four wireless Big Button Pads, and a $40 standalone release those that already have the Pads from last fall's release of Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action.

Which, since the Rock Band ad indicated the New Xbox Experience with the avatars wouldn't be out until November, raises the question: Will the NXE update actually be out before this, or will this ship in some form that won't use the avatars (or use generic avatars) before the update goes live?
