Quantum of Solace PC Demo Released

My main problem with this game is that it feels like it's just trying to be COD4 in a new setting with a cover system and melee combat. Why can't Treyarch break away from the Call of Duty franchise?

Just Ass. Fov 45? Hate to rub in the obvious but...CONSOLED

hopefully this game is like the bond game on ps2.

STALKER: Clear Sky has absolutely ruined me when it comes to lighting effects. I now demand amazing dynamic shadows in all my games. How is the lighting in this game? Static? Dynamic? Baked on?

Shortest demo ever? Is it meant to just suddenly end while crouching along a tunnel?

Impressions:

Looks ok. Nothing spectacular but its runs well.
FOV is like 45. Fine for a console, but on a 24 inch monitor its fucking horrible (and the default mouse speed is a tad too twitchy)
Game constantly takes away your control for even little things like dropping half an inch down a hole.
Cover system seems a bit static. Blind firing with a pistol is hilariously useless, and using aim while in cover shifts you from 3rd person to 1st person instantly and kinda messes up your aim/exposes you to fire.

Other than that, its ok. Might pick it up, but the demo is far far far too short to make me think its anything other than Lara Bond Terrorist Murderer (woo, pillars fall over and make an escape route)

I found it somewhat enjoyable but way too short though makes me suspicious. Will keep an eye on it though.

What a joke. While I appreciate them putting out a demo, this is a lame-ass shooting gallery that feels unworthy of even coming out for the PC. Clunky and automated, with waxy enemies that roll around like this was VirtuaCop. No thanks.

So what kind of DRM is in this thing.
My computer is a beast and it takes 5 minutes to start the installer while my harddrive goes berserk.

What is it doing.

Please tell me it is not FOV 60 or something daft on PC again.

Strong contender for the shortest demo ever. Pretty entertaining though, I suppose. Feels fairly cinematic and action packed. Will keep an eye on it.

Damn that demo was short, spent more time watching intro and cutscenes that passing that.

Anyway game looks solid, but let us enable console in options so we can change the fov and let us change refresh rate along with resolution. ;)

Dunno about this game but the movie with the new guy was much more kickass and gritty. They were getting pretty campy with Brosnan.

Not a bad game! Not sure what I was expecting but yeah, nice setpieces and action.
