Halo Wars Cinematic Trailer: Open the Relic

Microsoft has released a new Halo Wars cinematic trailer. The short clip introduces the main characters of the story, and teases fans with a bit of the prequel's plot.

Halo Wars, a real-time strategy title by doomed developer Ensemble Studios, is expected to be released on Xbox 360 within the first half of 2009.

I generally think this series' soundtrack is overrated, but there's definitely something striking and iconic about it, and this trailer really highlights that by way of its comparably bland and derivative music.

Well nice CGI trailer I guess, I really do wish they could do a whole CGI Halo Movie. That would so rock and so beat that FF crap. Come on MS/Bungie show SE how it's done properly!!
