It is state fair time here in Texas! I plan to try and find as many things deep fried

as possible down there. Rumor has it they are frying up coke syrup now even. I'm sure that

must be good!

As for the the videogame news around these parts:

Lastly, that free Crysis Wars

weekend coming up is going to require a pretty hefty download, but we'll have it

available on FileShack.

New. It's that CGI thing. There was a movie over the summer that was a few episodes smooshed together. Everyone here will probably hate it but my kid will like it.

We are watching it. Boys stayed up late even though they have to get up at 5am for football tomorrow

The two EP so far do not seem to be related to the movie, except for the timeframe

This isn't the movie, but the series that the culled episodes from to make the movie.

The movie was basically three or four episodes of the new show in one big chunk because Lucas needed to fill a garage with cars or something. ;)

Q: Is it the Genndy Tartakovsky version?
      If A: Yes!
      Conclusion: FUCKING AWESOME
If A: N-fuck off and die.

I've been trying to figure out why it's ON Cartoon Network. You'd think with something as high profile as Star Wars it would be on a major network.

Isn't a live action star wars coming to a network channel next year?

Maybe. One is in the works, but I doubt it'll be 2009. Last I heard it might not even be 2010.

I'm sure Fox will have first dibs on picking it up, but no network is assured at the moment.
