Continuing its gradual reveal of the new Xbox 360 dashboard, Microsoft's Gamescore Blog has provided screenshots comparing the old Xbox Live Marketplace with the redesigned Marketplace gamers should experience this November.

Along with a redesigned interface, the new Xbox 360 dashboard--dubbed the New Xbox Experience--will deliver Netflix streaming, personalized Avatars, game installs, and more.

It looks as if they have just shrunk down the original dashboard, made things a bit more glossy and enlarge the banners three times as large as they used to be. Just look at the screenshot of the new marketplace. It goes: Banner, Banner, Banner, Banner, Banner, Actually options. Going through all those banners just to get to the marketplace menu every time doesn't sound like a good change if you ask me. Now look at the original dashboard screenshot. It has the options right there on the left. Then the "featured games" on the right. No need to scroll through them all before you get to where you are wanting to go.

My opinion: We should have the option to stay with the original dashboard.
