Technically it's quite impressive for a modestly powered console. The game itself looks rather generic, but hey, there are fuck all good shooters on the Wii so this is a welcome addition.
But really all of this stuff should be quite easy to do on the Wii. I mean it's no more powerful than an Xbox yet there are tons of Xbox and even Gamecube games that pull off bump mapping effects and all that.
It's just that most developers don't have a frigging clue how to get anything out of the hardware.
I'm impressed.
