Call of Duty: World at War Wii and DS Screenshots

Wow, the Wii version got hit with the fugly stick didn't it?

I'm all up for more FPSs for the DS. I'll be buying this.

am i the only who keeps getting black screens whenever trying to open any screenshot for any game in shacknews !!!

I went back and looked at MoH2 Wii and it really makes COD5 Wii look like shit. MoH2 is a fun FPS btw. Run-of-the-mill and nothing new, but still enjoyable.

Anyways, noticed the post processing effects and use of anti-aliasing. COD5 does none of this. MoH2 runs smoothly and at an average of 60 fps on the Wii, so there's ROOM to do more. On that note, why can't people understand that if a system is pushing 60+ FPS, it's not maxed out. It's when a properly optimized game, which truly takes advantage of the console's hardware dips below 30 fps, that it's reaching its roof. None of the AAA Wii titles dip down that low in frame rate.

From where i stand Treyarch low-balled the Wii version of this game. They used companies like Exact, which are mainly known for PS1 games. When you put CRAP in, you're going to get CRAP out.

I think their mentality is that us Wii guys are used to shit, so we'll not know any better, but that's simply not true. These poor showings only give the 20 something naive-retards more fuel to perpetuate their wanting ignorance. This is clearly the developers inability to do good on this console, not the Wii's hardware limits. Even if the Wii were as limited a XBox, this would still be inexcusable.

The controls on this game better be top notch. I was initially planning on getting this for the Wii first, then my PC to play with my PC friends, but now I'm on the fence.

jesus the wii shots look like a psp game or something. I thought cod 3 was bad on wii....
