Penny Arcade Ep. 2 Gets $15 Price Tag, New Trailer

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 2, featuring a healthy dose of "two-dimensionality," has gone gold.

The adventures of Tycho and Gabe will soon continue, as Hothead's comedy-RPG is complete and being prepared for release. The game is set to release as a digital download on PC for $14.95 and on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), marking a $5 drop over the price of the first episode. A PlayStation Network release is soon to follow, presumably at the same price.

While a concrete release date was not announced, a game "going gold" usually implies that it will be released soon. To mark the occasion, Hothead released a new trailer for the episode.

Pathetically, MS really would like you to drink the Koolaid and believe you are getting a great deal by pointing out that it's $5 less than the first one. In reality, it's all just part of their scheme to get you used to paying $15 instead of $10.
