In a rather impressive display of the ingenuity, players of Maxis' PC evolution effort Spore have manged to recreate numerous units from Blizzard's acclaimed PC RTS series StarCraft, resulting in the bodacious screenshots above.
Unfortunately, the original report, as found by StarCraftWire.net, appeared over at Korean website Ruliweb, making it difficult to discern how or even if players can take control of these creations within their own Spore universe.
Update: Spore players can find the creatures on this Sporecast.

The detail on those vultures is incredible.
The Battlecruiser looks epic.
What I find really amusing is that their creatures look like marshmallows with stubbly little arms and legs.
