New screenshots and gameplay videos of Insomniac's alternate history sci-fi shooter Resistance 2 (PS3) have arrived, highlighting the game's single player campaign, 8-player class-based online co-op mode, 60-person online competitive multiplayer, along with some fresh concept art and renders.

      It's so fps gamers can feel like they're playing an rpg. :) Cuz leveling up is the true measure of greatness.

      I was more disappointed with that beam gun. It didn't look like it did any damage on the horde of monsters he was melting. I wanna see torsos drop to the ground, dammit!

        the enemies' hit points could scale with the number of people. looked like there were a bunch playing coop in that section.

        The beam gun is what the medic uses to suck life from enemies and then heal teammates. It only does moderate damage. You'd probably like the mini-gun that the Assault class wields a bit more.

      In co-op, the experience is used to level up your character. As you gain more XP in certain classes, you get more weapons, more power, more customization, etc.
