There was gigantic battles in Freespace, but that was about 10 years ago, what could a top drawer team do with a real space sim shooter nowadays? The demise of the whole Space sim genre really shows how ambition has fallen away to safe sure fire bets.
I guess im just bitter I will never play a proper space sim version of the battle of Yavin...

Furthermore calling this game a budget title doesn't mean nearly as much when Crysis Warhead is selling at the same price (30).
I like to support smaller studios, but if you are going to make a new game in an old genre, you better bring something new to the table or ... well why would anyone be interested in playing it?

How does GamersGate work? Can I re-download at any time?

Space just isn't that colorful. It's a dark, cold, barren place where objects are few and far between. Why make a space sim where you feel claustrophobic?

Who cares if it sucks, just buy it so it encourages more people to make more!
Though I'll probably contradict myself by not buying it if it sucks...har har.
