The Xbox Live Arcade re-release of the classic 90s PC shooter Duke Nukem 3D will carry a price of 800 Microsoft Points ($10), Microsoft has announced.

The Return of the Duke will feature 8-player co-operative play, deathmatch, time rewinding and replay sharing among .

Duke will land on the Xbox Live Marketplace in the early hours--4:00 AM CDT--on Wednesday, September 24. To convince yourself you need the king of ass-kickery back in your life, read the Shacknews hands-on--and don't forget the bubble gum.

    This really needs to come to the pc, or else I'm forced to buy a XBOX 360...

        Yeah, I want 8 player coop with lobbies and full internet/LAN support and that replay function.

        I played the original when it came out, don't worry about me being some young noob-kiddo ;)

        It came to DOS a long time ago. Its not windows friendly though.

              Yeah, this is true, by orders of magnitude. The 360 version of the game is by far the definitive standard, imo. I hope the multiplayer stays active just for small, hardcore groups of fans. At least, the platform is there, to allow that to happen.
