Kingdom Hearts GBA Hits PS2 in December

Square Enix announced today that Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, the Disney-filled RPG originally released on Game Boy Advance, will see an updated release for PlayStation 2 on December 2.

Originally developed by Jupiter, the card-based hack-and-slash Game Boy Advance title bridged the gap between the first two Kingdom Hearts games. The Square Enix-developed PlayStation 2 version is a 3D remake that has been out in Japan for some time.

I'm kinda surprised by this after all this time.

Now if only they'd go back and release FFXII International here, and Namco would go back and release the Tales games they skipped, I'd be satisfied.

Seriously. Even not getting a proper version of Tales of Phantasia is criminal. :(

Yeah, no US release for Phantasia Full Voice Edition :(

actually i was surprised, but it makes sense if what sony said at their press conference at E3 is true... they're still supporting the PS2 to some extent and encouraging devs to put out titles on the platform.

This is definitely a shock, considering how long it's been out in Japan. Better late than never, I guess.

Totally agree, I'd fork out another $100 aud for FF12 International easy; not even joking about that, I'd love to see how the game plays when you can't make all your characters clones of each other :)
