Rumor: Mirror's Edge PC Pushed to 2009

13
Mirror's Edge, DICE's highly anticipated parkour-running first-person action title, may have had its PC version delayed into the calendar year 2009.

Retail websites like GameStop have changed Mirror's Edge's PC release date to early January 2009, Big Download recently noticed. The delay does not appear to affect the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, which retailers have pegged for release this year.

Publisher Electronic Arts' only official word is that the game will arrive in "winter," though representatives from DICE have previously told Shacknews that the PC and console versions would be released simultaneously.

I'm already going to the poor house with the cavalcade of excellent AAA games coming out this fall. I can easily wait a little longer for this one.
