Mercenaries 2 Demo Finally Hits Xbox Live

The Mercenaries 2 demo, which publisher EA claimed was available last Friday, arrived today for North American Xbox 360 users via the console's online Xbox Live Marketplace.

Currently only available to Gold-level Xbox Live subscribers, the free 1.2 GB download offers up a small portion of Pandemic's explosion-filled action game, which launched on PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late August.

The PlayStation 3 version of the demo is slated to arrive on Thursday.

Unfortunately, I beat the game in the first 3 days of having it and within a week, unlocked the majority of the achievements, only to have 2 achievements bug on me and not give them to me. Verification of all HVTs and Acquiring all Landing Spots.

I traded it in on Sunday to put toward Rock Band 2 and The Force Unleashed.
