World of Warcraft: Lich King Arrives November 13

Blizzard has finally nailed down a release date for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, with the company today announcing that the second expansion pack for the massively successful PC MMO will be in stores November 13.

Wrath of the Lich King will add the frozen continent of Northrend, the Death Knight Hero class, an increase of the level cap from 70 to 80 and other new content. The standard edition of the expansion pack will sell for $39.99, with a $69.99 Collector's Edition also available. The CE includes a 208-page artbook, a soundtrack CD, an exclusive in-game pet, a behind-the-scenes DVD, a mouse pad and two World of Warcraft trading card starter decks.

      Well, Nov is the target month for most big releases, so that's not shocking that they were shooting for it. What's novel is that they've announced a hard date so early, seems they're confident it'll be ready in time.
