First Batman: Arkham Asylum Screenshots Released

The first official online screenshots of Batman: Arkham Asylum have been released by co-publishers Eidos and Warner Bros., showing off "completely revisioned" character designs that were created by DC Comics imprint WildStorm.

Developed by Urban Chaos: Riot Response veteran Rocksteady Studios, the title's mix of combat and detective gameplay hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2009.

I just love how dark and gritty it looks. That, and the Joker looks totally bat-shit (pun intended) insane...not cartoony.

I realy hope this turns out to be decent....there needs to be a good Batman game. Both the Joker and Batman look quiet good design-wise in my opinion. Not really cookie cutter but not so different it doesn't look like them.
