Call of Duty 4 DLC Goes Half Price This Weekend
by Chris Faylor, Sep 11, 2008 1:43pm PDTPublisher Activision has announced that the Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4 and its additional multiplayer arenas will sell for 400 Microsoft Points ($5), half of its usual $10 cost, on the Xbox Live Marketplace this weekend.
The half-price sale runs from 12:01 AM PDT on Friday, September 12 to midnight on Monday, September 14. In celebration of the reduced cost, that time will also be part of a Double XP Weekend for online players.
Released earlier this year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at $10, the Variety Map Pack brought four extra maps to the Infinity Ward-developed shooter: Creek, Broadcast, Killhouse, and Chinatown (a remake of the classic CoD map Carentan). A free PC release of the map pack followed in June.

I don't play this game anymore anyway, ever since the new Warhawk patch and Bad Company came out PS3 has been too much fun.
