Fresh Crysis Warhead Screens Accompany the Official Crysis PC Specs

Electronic Arts has released a set of new screenshots from Crytek's stand-alone shooter Crysis Warhead (PC), showing off a section of the icy area. The game will be split between jungle and ice areas, though the majority of events will be set in warmer territory.

The company also passed along the official specs of the Crysis Warhead PC, also known as the Ultra Optimized PC by Ultra PC. The game was developed using a PC with the same specs, with a target of 30 FPS on "Gamer" settings. The computer will sell for $699, and include the following hardware:

  • NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 512MB GPU

  • 2 GB RAM

    So still no mention of what resolution you can expect to get 30FPS with "gamer" settings?

      Probably 720p @ medium-medium high settings.

        No, it's more like they want to advertise a decent resolution and anything relating to HD is better marketing. Instead of saying it was running at 1024x768 so only us computer nerds know what it means, they say 720p which a lot more people can understand without having to look it up. So basically if you want to look in terms of pc resolutions, its closely related to 1024x768. You can figure it out from there.
