7
The veil of shadow has finally come off the long-rumored Ninja Blade, revealing the title to be a ninja-themed hack-and-slash action game from Otogi and Metal Wolf Chaos veterans From Software. Due out next year as a Microsoft-published Xbox 360 exclusive, the game will pack fast-paced cutscenes and high-tension action set in a faithful rendering of famous parts of Tokyo, going by an IGN interview.

The first details were accompanied by the above screenshots, with more information expected to arrive as the game's vague 2009 release draws closer.

Didn't you see the word "true"? Hook, line, and sinker.

Me neither. Got Black, Sigma and NG2 was an awesome sequel. I guess it's the trendy thing to bag on NG2 like it is to bag on Crysis. One rapes your PC, the other rapes your gaming skills. Many E-peens were repeatedly kicked so it's cool to trash talk awesome games.

How does NG2 rape your gaming skills? The game is like 100x easier than the NG/NG:Black/NG:Sigma were. I didn't die in NG2 until close to chapter 8 or 10, and you rarely had to use consumables outside of bosses.

That's not to say I'm complaining it was too easy, simply thats a lousy excuse (for this particular game) to argue why someone didn't like it. It was by far the easiest action game I played this year.

Ninja Gaiden on Xbox is still one of my favorite games. Ever. I remember playing it on my bros Xbox when it first came out and just being in awe. I think i beat the game within that week. That being said I was really stoked for NG2, and while I enjoyed it, it didn't have anywhere near that kind of effect on me this time.

NG2 main fault is that it was more of the same. The only major differences were the horrible story and lots of gore/dismemberment. The graphics are certainly not that huge of a leap over the original, and there are moments I think Sigma looked a lot better. The gameplay, aside from minor tweaks and few new weapons, is exactly the same.

I think many people who played the Xbox NG and were immediately fans of the game had high expectations for this game and just felt like it was something that was either rushed or could have been given to us a long time ago.
