Yeah, the original was one of the few games I've finished this year. Very much looking forward to the next.

As long as it still has the same Penny Arcade wacky humour I'll buy it for that alone. =D

Crab fact: crabs are <i>fucking</i> crazy.

Yeah, why use standard tags that work across most forums when you can make up your own.

So is there a list of these tags somewhere, or should I start guessing?

It's seldom I come across a forum that permits unfettered HTML use by the public...it's just way too open for abuse.

As for shack tags, here's a quick and dirty list:

Note: Spaces added in between tag character and open/close brackets/braces. Make sure to remove these spaces before use.

                red r { ... } r
                green g { ... } g
                blue b { ... } b
                yellow y { ... } y
                olive e [ ... ] e
                limegreen l [ ... ] l
                orange n [ ... ] n
                multisync p [ ... ] p
                italics / [ ... ] /
                bold b [ ... ] b
                quote q [ ... ] q
                sample s [ ... ] s
                underline _ [ ... ] _
                strike - [ ... ] -
                spoiler o [ ... ] o

It's true HTML is restricted in most forums, they filter out any code that isn't harmless, pretty standard stuff across CMSs, but formatting tags usually work.

These tags seem a bit quicker to type though, so kudos for that.

                  Thanks for the list!
