Guitar Praise Brings Lord to Living Room
by Blake Ellison, Aug 27, 2008 2:48pm PDTNot content with the hedonistic rock-n-roll found in megahit music games Rock Band and Guitar Hero, Christian software publisher Digital Praise is about to unleash Guitar Praise: Solid Rock, GameDaily has uncovered.

If Christianity is so damn popular, how come these Christian-branded near-parodies of secular products even exist? After all, if we're supposed to be a largely Christian world, wouldn't you think the average person would demand this sort of content in their entertainment across the board?
Whenever I see this stuff, it makes me wonder how many Christians are only Christian in name and just haven't admitted to themselves that they may be agnostic or atheist.

This is the dumbest POS I've ever seen this company make. Sad part about it is, they probably only did it because they have a ridiculous amount of money to waste.

Dance Praise had a terrible interface and worse note charts. They sent me a copy for review, and I never wrote the review because I couldn't find one good thing to say about it.
Although I have to admit I really like the music from Christian ska-band Five Iron Frenzy... :P

Wonder if they actually bothered to come up with their own spec, or if we're gonna see a lawsuit later on...
