Guitar Hero World Tour Not Getting Keyboard, 'Deserves to be Introduced with Its Own Game'

The possibility of a keyboard in Guitar Hero World Tour has apparently been shot down, a Joystiq interview has revealed.

As previously reported, Guitar Hero World Tour will be adding a new instrument to complement the already-included guitar, drums, and microphone, but the new peripheral would only be used in the game's new music creation mode.

When asked about a keyboard controller, Bright said, "A keyboard controller deserves to be introduced with its own game. This is something we're thinking about."

Guitar Hero World Tour will appear on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2, with Neversoft developing the PS3 and 360 versions, Vicarious Visions handling the Wii edition and Budcat on the PS2 release.

I feel that way about these games too. Lots of people love them, even musicians. I don't get it!

I cannot play blackened or flirtin with disaster on guitar so I play them on games because they are fun. Any tips to pull of hammer on and pull offs faster would be appreciated. That is why I play them.
