I think Im buying this but I have no idea about most of this game. Didn't pay attention to it at all. Reasons Im buying:

1. It comes out sooon. I havent bought shit in a while

2. I love games where you can shoot and blow people up

3. Co-op

What is the multiplayer like in this game, besides co-op? Anyone got any info on this?

I'm buying this no doubt.

But I just saw a TV spot for this during Reality Bites Back and it was possibly the worst video game commercial I've ever seen. It looked like it was made by the people who made the Coke parody of GTA. It had this terrible song as well. Boo EA marketing dept.

A lot of people say Mercs is like GTA...this is not true in the least. In GTA you play some punk that walks around killing everyone and getting hooked up with sleazy women. On Mercenaries you play a professional privateer that gets paid to blow the heck out of anything that moves. The money goes twords your business so that you get MORE money.

The only similarities are this

Open sandbox
Vehicle driving
Money

Everything else? Totally different.

Why has the shack gotten to be a resource hog. These videos seem to run shittier and shittier with each change to the video player. This used to be the smoothest and best running site, now its slow as shit.

Watching these videos is painful.
