The Sims 3 Dated for February 2009

Electronic Arts today announced that The Sims 3 will be available via digital download and in stores on February 20, 2009. The company also notes that The Sims 3 Collector's Edition will hit on the same date. The special edition includes the full game, The Sims merchandise, and an exclusive "bonus in-game Italian-Style Sports Car."

Says EA of the sequel's additions: "The feature-set includes a new seamless, open neighborhood, new Create-a-Sim, new unique personality traits, new unlimited customization and new gameplay that's quick and rewarding."

    looks like a slightly prettier Sims 2.
    at least Sims 2 will soon be complete and I can buy the bundle that has all the crap together

      they're supposed to be doing a fair amount of gameplay stuff differently this time around, though. cutting back on stupid micromanaging or something.

        Honestly, if they can make life inside the house flow relatively well with the whole "neighborhood" concept, it'd be a lot more fun. I always hated how limited everything outside of your own house was.

        They mentioned that about Sims 2, but I still had a character die from starvation at home, while I took another family member to the market.
