Silent Hill: Homecoming Screenshots Are Creepy

Publisher Konami has passed in a new batch of screenshots from Double Helix's Silent Hill: Homecoming (PC, PS3, 360) which show, among other things, a monster with arms growing out of its face.

The latest sequel in Konami's long-running survival horror series, Homecoming is due out on consoles this September. A planned PC version of the title is slated to arrive at a future date.

While some of the creatures look alright, they don't really fit in silent hill. They look too bloody/violent, rather than mysterious and disturbing.

Woah what the hell? A PC VERSION? REALLY?!

I'll buy it on the PS3, and then when it comes on PC I"m buying it again, I don't care if t's a bad choice economically, I can't pass this up.

Unless this is the Silent Hill that officially kills the series but right now I'm finding it hard to believe.
