Chrono Trigger DS Hits Retailers on November 28, Includes New Dungeons, Arena Mode
by Aaron Linde, Aug 18, 2008 11:35am PDTPublisher Square Enix has formally announced a release date for the DS edition of its celebrated SNES RPG classic Chrono Trigger, slated for release on November 28.
In addition to new dungeons built specifically for the game's Nintendo DS appearance, Square Enix revealed that the game will include an Arena mode, which "add[s] exciting new dimensions" to the classic RPG. No further details were immediately available.
The company had previously revealed that Chrono Trigger DS would include some form of wireless multiplayer, though it is not yet clear whether the Arena mode will serve as the promised multiplayer component.

I know this won't happen, but how bad ass would it be if those new dungeons affected time the same way the optional ones did in the original?
