The worldwide release of GSC Game World's post-apocalyptic survival shooter prequel S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky (PC) has been pushed from August 29 to September 5, publisher Deep Silver announced today.

No reason was provided for the brief delay, which accompanied news that the game has gone gold and is now in the manufacturing process.

The screens still look like a tech demo, its like it's not even a game. Stalker played very weird, it was an ok game but still, I have a love hate relationship with this game :D

Yeah me too. The damage seemed way off, I remember unloading full clips into guys and they would be still standing, while one shotgun blast and you would be dead.

You must've not gotten very far into the game.

I beat the game... The damage was screwed up the entire way.

I disagree. I think it was perfect on the hardest difficulty level; the better guns were the ones that could be find closer to the center of the zone, and it was a game you had to take cover instead of stand on the middle of nowhere easily killing everyone rambo style.

I played on the hardest difficulty as well, it was tough but I enjoyed it.

Standard ammo to the chest would get totally absorbed so you had to use headshots, but you have armour piercing rounds which worked alot better, but were in shorter supply, the guns were quite unforgiving to aim, you really had to settle your shot before firing.

eh.. the game ran kinda slow on my PC so it was hard to always go for headshots.

If your rig isn't up to snuff, drop down to DX8....while not as pretty, it is still very atmospheric and should run great.
