Yakuza 2 Invades North America on September 9
by Aaron Linde, Aug 15, 2008 1:50pm PDTPublisher Sega of America has announced that Amusement Vision's free-roaming crime title Yakuza 2 (PS2) will arrive at North American retailers on September 9. Screenshots of the game were also provided.
Building on elements established by its 2006 predecessor, Yakuza 2 includes more urban areas to explore and a variety of improvements and upgrades. The game's North American localization comes almost a full two years after its Japanese release, which landed in December of 2006.
Yakuza 3 is currently in development for the PlayStation 3, with a Edo-period PS3 side story having already hit Japan.

Despite the big names (Michael Madsen, Mark Hamill), the English voice acting pretty much sucked on Yakuza.
