Call of Duty: World at War Co-Op Movie Released

Activision has released a new Call of Duty: World at War (PC, PS3, X360, Wii) video, offering nearly five minutes of co-op gameplay footage from the World War 2 action game sequel. The video shows the action from two different perspectives, and also features the sultry tones of Kiefer Sutherland who voices one of the main characters in the game.

The Treyarch developed Call of Duty: World at War will be in stores November 11.

So...that looks cool but I have a few comments.

1. Needs a little bob to the movement...looks SO stiff.
2. Add a few more animations if you're going to show the hands, so that they move around on the gun...readjusting the hand-hold so it doesn't look like you're a zombie walking around.
3. Grenade toss animations are awful.

Other than that, I'm pleasantly surprised at how well its coming together. Wish they moved up a war or two, but hey...I like WWII so its ok.

WTB head-bob.

Anyway, so, let's see. The campaign in this game will be Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa? The last section of the video there clearly shows Mount Suribachi in the distance, so Iwo Jima is definitely in the game. I can't imagine they'd leave out Guadalcanal and Okinawa, given how bloody and pivotal the two battles were. In fact, I'd bet that those jungle scenes in the beginning are probably from Guadalcanal.

What else will they use? Tarawa? Bataan/Philippines? It's too bad they haven't really embraced vehicle/air combat in the CoD series given the number of major air battles in the Pacific Theater.

This would be awesome if it wasn't the same arsenal I've used in 19 other games.

Hopefully someone puts co-op in a game I care about, like Far Cry 2 or Crysis:W

This game doesn't seem to have its own 'style'.

I'm totally a CoD fan (CoD 1, 2, UO skipped 3 but got 4, all on PC) and this game definitely looks like a CoD game, but I just don't see a little extra something to make me want to play it yet. These initial videos haven't 'wow'd' me yet like the early sniper video from CoD4, I was sold on CoD4 after that video. Coop is nice but not a selling point for me, I need something stylishly different I guess not just a rehash of CoD gameplay with coop. I'm not sold. Maybe I'm missing something... can you guys help me out there?

While the head bob and movement in stalker was way too exaggerated they are moving and straveing like on rails here, the typical console neck brace and coke glasses fov doesn't help either.
