Fellow nerd menz:

I need help identifying a movie. This is a tough one. When I was young, I used to go to Zone 1 in Asbury Park, and they used to play the same cartoon movie over and over, every weekend. It was something about these barbarian cro-magnon guys fighting each other, and monsters, and there was this one guy who had white hair and grey skin, and he had some kind of telekinetic powers, and he was using his powers to terrorize all the tribes.

Then there was this guy with a bearskin helmet who ran around fighting against him, and in the end of the movie there was a fight where the bearskin guy was getting creamed by telekinetic grey skinned guy, and then suddenly he glows and does like this lion's roar thing, and cuts grey telekinetic guy in half.

Between the fact that the club music was super-loud, and the fact that I was usually wasted, and trying to talk to girls, I have no idea what was going on with that movie.

It is now 15 years later, and I woke up this morning needing to know: JUST WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON THERE?

If anyone knows what movie this was, please share.

I found the same thing when I bought my MacBook Pro last fall. It wasn't a cheap laptop, but it was similarly priced to a Dell or HP with the same specs. The trick with Macs is to buy them a couple weeks or a month after a new model is released. That way, you get the best bang for your buck and can avoid any initial launch problems.

dammit... I went to check out the Samsung Instinct. It was advertised that I could renew my contract with Sprint (currently not in contract with them) and get it for the $129.99 price. After talking to the lady, not only do I have to pay $229.99 up front, but I have to choose from one of the EVERYTHING plans which starts at $69.99. Why the fuck would I want to do that instead of getting an iPhone? Ugh, I thought Sprint was wanting to be competitive.

Okay I just have to put this out there. Samurai Jack is an awesome show. I used to watch it when I was younger but never really got to see it as much as I'd like. But I recently ordered all three seasons on DVD and I am loving it again.

I'll admit the first season starts out rocky with the first few episodes, but the show quickly finds its place and gets really good. The animation and artwork are really fantastic. And the cinematography is quite awesome. They really make good use of multiple split screens to enhance the action.

And the music is also pretty damn good too. I didn't notice it at first, but now that I have I am actually quite surprised at how good it is.

The show just has a great sense of humor and still maintains an element of seriousness and beauty to it. I'm not sure what other show I would compare it too, but if you enjoy quality animation and storytelling you will likely not be disappointed if you give yourself time to sink into Samurai Jack.

I want to play music wirelessly from my laptop to my receiver. I just buy an airport express plug it into the wall and my receiver, set it up on my current wireless network and thats it? Just want to confirm before I buy one...

Also, being that its $100, are there any similar devices for less?

I think I may cave in and buy a laptop, finally. I don't need anything for gaming, just something for web access and eneral word processing. Are there any great deals lying around the web or stores? I was hoping to get an Xp system but I hear that's pretty impossible these days.

All ideas are welcome. :)

I've come to the conclusion gamers are so extremely jaded these days because No More Heroes} is beyond awesome. It feels like a classic game without all the useless pomp and circumstance all popular games have these days.

Its just too bad the game doesn't have more grey and brown and a massive mtv advertising and viral marketing campaign.
