Pro Evo Soccer 2009 Slated for Fall in North America

The latest edition of Konami's soccer simulation series Pro Evolution Soccer will arrive in North America this fall, the publisher announced today.

Previously known as the Winning Eleven series, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 features new moves and control elements, a major graphical update, and enhanced online functionality.

The game is in development for PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP. While the publisher did not specify an exact release date, more information is expected as we move closer to the game's fall launch window.

I have always wanted to play a soccer game. Are these games really good? Is there a clear winner in which is better.. FIFA or EVO??? This game looks very nice!

Good. There's no reason to delay it until spring of next year in NA like every single past WE/PES game.

Hate to say I'm looking forward to FIFA 09 more though.

Fuck yes I get to play the game at nearly the same point as the Europeans. Also with online functionality being broken in previous games you sure as hell better promise "enhanced online functionality". God I'm so addicted to this series.
